New Player Help - Choosing your Main

When you first started playing Valorant, how did you decide on which character to become your main? Which factors influenced your decision?

My personal criteria is:

Playstyle - are you more of an aggressive player, defensive player, or supportive player? Do you want to 1v5 solo carry games, or would you rather be the one who enables your teammates to do that?
Character aesthetics - do you like how the character looks, their voice lines, vfx, etc. Sometimes this is a deal breaker for me. If a character's design is too off-putting, I won't be able to play them regardless of how fun they are.
