I fully agree with this. Actually i posted something similar in the /VALORANT reddit and it got removed so I'm posting it here too.
"Could RIOT maybe shutdown Russian servers and block Russians from playing the game ? I think it would be a good measure and a nice stand to take considering the recent developments in world diplomacy. War crimes complaints and even a possible hearing in International Court. I know many of the players maybe won't agree with me since I changed my nickname to support ukraine and people have been mocking me and saying "f*** Ukraine" but its in my opinion that it would be a good initiative to take the same stand as almost all the countries in the world."
