Syaliin It's likely he did more damage than you. Combat score is based on damage done - although you may have more assists (minimum of 50 damage), that Phoenix likely had tons of interactions where he did 1-49 damage, resulting in a higher combat score.
Combat scores can become extremely high when facing healers like Sage, Reyna and Phoenix, as they can be shot many times before fully dying (or even revived).
