So I've just pressed F11 instead of F12 when wanting to take a screenshot in the game and it put the game to windowed mode, as it should. However, the contrast/gamma was really weird in that windowed state, almost like I upped the gamme by at least 20% compared to the regular image quality, and even the contrasts seem a bit off too.
When re-enabling fullscreen with F11, the gamma/image stayed the same. Restarting the game did not help, neither did restarting my whole PC. Friend suggested a Windows-/system spec related issue, but it's not that, as no other program, nor my desktop is like that. Checked in the options menu, no setting found for gamma or saturation, and I have not touched anything at all, all I did was mis-click on F11 and now here I am having this somewhat sharp and uncomfortable-to-look-at image quality both in the main manu and in-game.
Does any of you have a suggestion on how I could revert this back to normal?
EDIT: it might not look like much on the screenshot (check the UI, the upper part or the minimap where it is the most noticeable), but it's at least 50% brighter/sharper than it was before. If it's not noticeable enough, I will post more screenshots in the comments.
EDIT#2: For some reason, alt-tabbing out and going back in to the game solved the issue. O__o
